Mexican artists, National Auditorium and Carlos Slim Foundation are organizing a solidarity concert with Haiti, next February 17, 20:30 PM.

With the object of giving a friendly hand to Haiti’s earthquake victims and bringing up audience solidarity, many Mexican pop artists, National Auditorium and Carlos Slim Foundation have joined efforts for putting into effect the fund-raising concert A Mexican Musical Heart for Haiti, in support for this Latin American nation.

Pop artists Aleks Syntek, Alejandra Guzmán, Ha-ash, Armando Manzanero, Yuri, Mijares, Yahir, and Margarita, “The Cumbia Goddess”, have already secured their free acting. It is expected that many others artists will freely join the acting list. They all will spread out their talents in helping Haiti.

The idea was suggested by pop singer Aleks Syntek, who quickly gained support from many other pop artists. In response, Carlos Slim Foundation has agreed to double the concert income. Besides, Grupo Financiero Inbursa will set up tills at the hall entrance for collecting additional funds.
