Eng. Carlos Slim Helú delivered a Master Conference to ITAM alumni in Mexico City, where he stated that the economic growth scenario for this country is promising, and that the GDP can have significant growth.
He added that, in order to achieve the economic development desirable, Mexico requires receiving investments at levels of 20%, and strengthen the population’s purchasing power, aiming to reach growth rates of 6% to break the underdevelopment barrier.
He also emphasized the relevance of working together with the United States and Canada, as the world is moving from globalization to regionalization.
