The Carlos Slim Foundation, in collaboration with the Mexico City Government, reports that the capacity of the Temporary COVID-19 Unit has been expanded.

The Carlos Slim Foundation, in collaboration with the Mexico City Government, reported that the capacity of the Temporary COVID-19 Unit (TCU) has been expanded, and that it will continue operating as long as it is required. With this expansion, from 246 to 607, the hospital beds available are distributed as follows:

We hereby express our gratitude and recognition to the extraordinary performance of more than 1,800 collaborators working in this unit, as their effort and commitment make the efficient TCU operation possible. Up to date, we have treated 5,329 patients, and are expecting to treat over 10,000.
